That's a wrap for this season!

Our live nest camera has now been switched off for the autumn and winter, as the storks are no longer using the nest. We'll be back online next spring, so keep an eye on our social media for updates on when the live stream returns.

A huge thank you to everyone who tuned in this season, and especially to those who helped collect observations through the live cam. Together, you've contributed more than 2,000 data points, which will help us build a detailed picture of the breeding season.

This unusual nest belongs to a pair of rescued adult storks who are unable to fly, but whose chicks are free to fledge and join the wild population, with some eventually migrating thousands of kilometres to Europe and North Africa. It's a rare opportunity to experience the hidden world of a White Stork family from inside the nest itself.
